With the start of 2018 NA LCS Summer Split just around the corner, OpTic Gaming has announced their line up on social media this past Monday on June 11th, 2018.

The following rosters will represent OpTic Gaming in the NA LCS for the remainder of Season 8:

Most of the main roster from the previous Spring Split remains intact as Niship “Dhokla” Doshi, Matthew “Akaadian” Higginbotham, Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage, and Dong-hyeon “Arrow” Noh returns to represent the #Greenwall, while LCS veteran Daerek “LemonNation” Hart and Derek “zig” Shao have parted ways with the organization.

To fill the void left behind, a familiar face will make his return to the NA LCS: Terry “Big” Chuong joins the OpTic roster as the starting Support. Chuong, who most recently competed with Team Dignitas in the previous season, brings valuable professional experience and exceptional gameplay to the team, and aims to bring success for his new organization.

As for OpTic Gaming Academy, the roster has been significantly rebuilt with the signing of Kieran “Allorim” Logue, Gabriel “Fanatiik” Saucier, Johnson “Eclipse” Cao, and Austin “Gate” Yu. Cristian “Palafox” Palafox returns as the sole member of its previous Spring Split roster. With a mix of veteran experience and talented prospects in the line up, the team is highly anticipated to have a turn-around split this summer.
