OpTic Gaming’s 2018 expansion has thus far taken on a relentless pace, digging out the foundations of a new CSGO empire on the Indian subcontinent, and taking Mexico’s hottest Gears of War team to NoLa, proving the mettle of their metal as they sprayed down the competition with hot lead.
But the work isn’t over, and the planes haven’t stopped. OpTic isn’t just a matter of teams and trophies, after all – and its latest acquisition spearheads the expansion of an already world-caliber crew of content creators.
OpTic Gaming has landed in South-East Asia.
We are proud to announce the acquisition of three of the region’s top gaming creators, representing a combined 800,000 followers:
Christina Xiaoting “Miao Miao” - gaming personality, full-time streamer and social media influencer
“Joseph Germani” - YouTuber, actor and gamer
“SparTankeR” - professional shoutcaster and avid streamer
Said GM Romain Bigeard: “OpTic has built a passionate global community of personalities, streamers and teams around the world. As esports continues to grow massively in Asia, we are delighted to bring high-quality and personalized content and community events to excite our SEA fans.”
The SEA Stream Team kicks off on July 23rd, at 8 PM GMT+8, in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. For over two hours, they will head off with and against fans live – and give away exclusive OpTic Gaming merch, signed by the DOTA 2 team now preparing for TI8.
And that’s not the end of it. Their weekly OpTic Plays streaming sessions and bi-monthly video content will help bridge the gap between SEA and the rest of the international Green Wall community. Expect everything from podcasts to trivia shows to everything in between.
And expect us not to stop.
